Lost Colony is a massive multiplayer online first person shooter, however, it was designed to host a new episode of the storyline each week. Lost Colony is very dynamic, and there are many parts to the story that will keep you on edge, week by week.

From the beginning...

"Lost Colony" takes place in the 23rd century while the totalitarian earth government rules with brutality. Massive corporate conglomerates rule over millions of lives in their efforts to compete for what few resources remain in the Sol system. The search for more revenue turns the attention of the corporations outside the solar system, to the nearest neighbors. Plans for mining colonies and ways of efficiently gathering the resources go into development and early prototype ships are launched. Technological advancement, which has stagnated in recent years, exploded in a flurry of development.

The year 2246 marks the beginning of the New Colonial Era. The first colony ships sent out from the four largest corporations launch into the void within a month of each other, each vying to be the first and doubtlessly most profitable. Vertias Corporation's ship, the Truthbringer, heads out toward Sirius, the brightest star in the sky and a mere 2.6 parsecs away from Earth. With the advent of sub-light impulse drives and fusion reactors, the mining colony ship was expected to complete the voyage within a mere fifty years. The entire crew of 15,000 was nevertheless frozen in cryogenic storage for the long trip, tucked away like cargo in the huge vessel.

However, something went wrong. The Truthbringer ended up at Sirius' nearest neighbor, Procyon, nearly 75 years after its launch date, with almost all of its fuel expended. The automated wake-up procedure was begun, and the first dozen crew members, including the team leaders, were woken from cryo-sleep. It didn't take them long to realize they weren't at the right binary star system. An executive meeting was held by the managing directors, who consulted geological surveys of Procyon's planetary system and determined that Procyon III's characteristics would make it suitable for a mining colony. They were chartered by Veritas to produce a profitable mining colony, and produce a profitable mining colony they would! They brought the Truthbringer into orbit around Procyon III and began the drop-pod procedures that would transfer their equipment and personnel to the surface.

"Lost Colony" has 3 empires known as "Insurgents", "Survivalists", and " Veritas Corporation".
